Support Brett's Bass Fund with the Perfect Gift for a Music Loving Loved One! Introducing our "Reduce us to love and basslines" t-shirts.
We are proud to have been named everyday heroes by KATU-TV, the ABC affiliate in Portland, Oregon for the work we are doing to bring music to those in need. Check out the story by clicking below!
Our mission is to provide resources to aspiring bass players who may not have the resources or support to learn. Through a nomination process we award scholarships to those who desire to learn bass - no matter the age.
Brett's Bass Fund was established in the memory of renowned bass player and garlic lover Brett Rothfeld. Brett played a range of music and played in bands such as Napalm, Fuzzbubble, The Plums, Brown Sabbath and Cousin Junebug. He worked with artists such as Mike Clink, Susannah Hoffs, Jimmy Page, and Mike DiNuzio.
The mission of BBF is to provide resources to those who desire to learn the bass but may not have the resources or support. Through a nomination process, once a year the Fund will award individuals with scholarships which include a year's worth of bass lessons, a bass guitar and mentorship with professional musicians.
Your contribution will enable us to support our mission - helping people through the power of music. We are very grateful for your generosity.
