What is a Noise-A-Thon, you ask?
It's like a Walk-A-Thon but for music/sound!
Or annual Noise-A-Thon challenges anyone who expresses themselves through sound to participate.
All you have to do is practice your chosen form of "noise" for 15 minutes a day throughout the month of May, gather pledges, and be eligible for some cool prizes. Plus, you contribute to the mission of Brett’s Bass Fund*.
What do we mean by "noise"?
Brett’s Bass Fund was established in loving memory of bass player Brett Rothfeld. Brett loved noise in all its forms: rock, funk, sound design, sound art, the clarinet, the trombone, bass...he loved it all.
Whatever your choice of "noise" may be, we hope you'll sign up next year and further your artistic expression for a good cause.

A BIG LOUD NOISY thank you to all of the participants, donors, supporters and general noise makers for making our 1st Annual Noise-A-Thon a HUGE success (check out our amazing participants here!).
We have heard from many that they can't wait until next year as it really inspired them to practice and with that came lots of other positive benefits - as one noise maker said - it "kept him honest" about his practice. So even if you didn't have a chance to participate this year....next year awaits you!
