Established to honor renowned Bass player, Brett Rothfeld, our mission is to provide resources to aspiring bass players who may not have the resources or support to learn.   

Through a nomination process we award scholarships to those who desire to learn bass - no matter the age. Scholarships include a year of bass lessons,  a bass guitar and  mentorship with established musicians.  

The BBF was launched in 2022 by Brett's friends and family to celebrate his life and legacy. His wife Kristina Haddad is the Director of the organization and the staff and board are all-volunteer.
